Do Bahraini citizens need a visa for Dubai?
Bahrain is a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member, so Bahraini citizens can enter the UAE with a valid national ID card or passport. No visa, sponsor or advance approval is needed.
If you live in Bahrain but hold another nationality, choose your own passport as citizenship and Bahrain as the country you are travelling from in the search above — you'll see the visas that apply to you.
Entry rules are based on the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa exemption list, checked on 21 October 2026. Rules can change, so confirm with ICP or your airline before you travel. MOFA list · ICP

Arriving in Dubai on a Bahraini passport
- Carry a valid national ID card or passport.
- Have your return or onward ticket and your hotel booking or host's address ready, as officers can ask.
- Check how many days your entry permit allows and note your last day.
- If you plan to stay longer, apply for an extension before that day to avoid overstay fines.
Paying from Bahrain
All our prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). If your card is in BHD, your bank converts the amount and may add a foreign transaction fee, so the final charge can be slightly different from the BHD estimates on this page.
Contacting us from Manama
Dubai is 1 hour ahead of Manama.
Our help desk answers on WhatsApp 24 × 7, so you can reach us at any hour in Manama — a 9am to 6pm working day in Dubai is 8am to 5pm there.
A visa approval does not guarantee entry: the final decision is made by UAE immigration on arrival. Fees, processing times and entry rules can change — the price shown at checkout is the one that applies.
