Do Danish citizens need a visa for Dubai?
Denmark is on the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa-free list. Danish citizens get an entry permit stamped at the airport on arrival, with no application before travel.
How long the entry permit lets you stay depends on your nationality, so check with ICP or your airline before you fly. If you need to stay longer, you can apply for an extension inside the UAE.
Because no visa is needed for a normal visit, Dubai Visa Booking does not sell entry visas for Denmark passports. What we do arrange is more time: if you want to stay longer than your entry permit allows, we can apply for an inside-country extension or an airport-to-airport (A2A) visa change before your permitted stay ends.
Entry rules are based on the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa exemption list, checked on 21 October 2026. Rules can change, so confirm with ICP or your airline before you travel. MOFA list · ICP

Arriving in Dubai on a Danish passport
- Carry a passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
- Have your return or onward ticket and your hotel booking or host's address ready, as officers can ask.
- Check how many days your entry permit allows and note your last day.
- If you plan to stay longer, apply for an extension before that day to avoid overstay fines.
Staying longer than your entry permit
You can extend before your entry permit runs out — from inside the UAE, or with a same-day airport-to-airport (A2A) change. We offer the 30 Days Inside Country Visa Extension (AED 1839 (about DKK 3,343), 2-3 days), 60 Days Inside Country Visa Extension (AED 2209 (about DKK 4,016), 2-3 days), 30 Days A2A Visa Extension (AED 1649 (about DKK 2,998), Same day) and 60 Days A2A Visa Extension (AED 2099 (about DKK 3,816), Same day).
Paying from Denmark
All our prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). If your card is in DKK, your bank converts the amount and may add a foreign transaction fee, so the final charge can be slightly different from the DKK estimates on this page.
Contacting us from Copenhagen
Dubai is 3 hours ahead of Copenhagen.
Our help desk answers on WhatsApp 24 × 7, so you can reach us at any hour in Copenhagen — a 9am to 6pm working day in Dubai is 6am to 3pm there.
How to apply for an extension
- Make sure you are still within your permitted stay — extensions must be applied for before it ends.
- Pick the extension that suits you from the options below and press “continue”.
- Upload your passport scan, photo and current visa or entry stamp.
- Pay online; we submit the extension and keep you updated until it is approved.
A visa approval does not guarantee entry: the final decision is made by UAE immigration on arrival. Fees, processing times and entry rules can change — the price shown at checkout is the one that applies.
